Laura Robinette

Laura is an assurance partner in PwC’s Raleigh office, where she is the office managing partner. She also serves as one of the national pharmaceuticals and life science leaders in our assurance practice.

Laura’s primary focus is working with pharmaceutical, technology and life science companies throughout the Triangle. Over the past several years, she has been involved in more than ten initial public offerings and numerous carve out audits. She has also been actively engaged in both buy and sell side mergers and acquisitions. Laura manages the Carolinas emerging company services practice and is responsible for the PwC MoneyTree® program, where she works closely with the venture capital community and the NCVA to report on trends in venture capital investments in the southeast. She also serves as the Quality Review Partner for a number of public companies.

Laura spent time outside of the firm, as the Corporate Controller for an international software company and was responsible for acquisition integration at a distribution company.

Laura is a graduate of Virginia Tech and is a licensed CPA in the state of North Carolina. She is an active board member of CED, where she serves as the Treasurer and Chairman of the Audit and Finance Committee. Laura serves on the Foundation Board of the North Carolina Museum of Art and serves as the Audit Committee Chairman of this board. She is a member of the Fifty Club, where the leaders of top 50 Triangle-based companies and an active board member of the Poole College of Management at North Carolina State University.
